Time Spent in The Vintage Gardener Studio

My Studio is in my home in the Foothills of Southern Alberta. I grow and press flowers from my own gardens, and the surrounding meadows and ditches. It is a process, starting with the Spring planting, followed by extensive picking and pressing the florals during the summer. Throughout the year I source all my frames from markets and vintage/thrift stores in the surrounding area. I spend time prepping the frames, painting some, and sealing them, before the design process begins in early fall, to prepare for winter markets. There isn't one stage of the process that I do not thoroughly enjoy! There is nothing that compares to the joy and beauty of working with flowers.
